The Maker Audio Room
Tom Maker, founder and former owner of Edge Electronics, reprised his debut of the M10 all active DSP loudspeakers ($35,000-$56,000 depending on driver configuration and other options) first seen at T.H.E. Show in January. Music was wirelessly streamed to the speakers via an Olive music server. The speakers were extremely dynamic, with an accurate midrange and smooth treble. The styling is unique, driven by enginnering in isolating the drivers in separate aluminum and carbon fiber enclosures, with resonances damped through torsion rods.
