I have been very impressed with Rosso Fiorentino loudspeakers at previous tradeshow, and they did not disappoint here either. They reprised their demo of the the four-way Siena speakers ($24,995/pair). There is a clarity to them that I find exceptional.
Aiding in the suspension of disbelief were a Dr. Feickert Blackbird turntable and DFA 10.5 tonearm ($8495) and electronics from Abbington Road Music (AMR). Shown are the AMR CD-77.1 CD player ($10,995), the new AMR DP-777 DAC ($4995) and the AMR AM-77.1 integrated amplifier ($9995), all in different shadea of anodized dark gray.
There you have it. It was a small, yet enjoyable show. I will be interested to see how the New York City version fares. The highlight is likely to be Arturo Delmoni’s live recital presented by John Mark’s Music on Friday night.
