The Acoustic Zen and Triode Room

Acoustic Zen brought along their Crescendos ($16,000/pair) and powered them with components from Triode Corporation. They are large, dynamic speakers which I think overpowered the room, at least at the volume levels at which they were playing them. Reminded me of the Maxell cassette tape ad.

Those are the Orb Jade 2 DAC ($1799), the Triode TRV-CD4SE upsampling CD player ($2200), the Corporation TRX-1 preamplifier with a nifty four-band equalizer ($3000), and the new 20Wpc TRV-845SE integrated amplifier ($6000).
