Quad displayed their Model 2905 electrostatic panels ($12,500) with a Quad Q24P phono preamplifier, QC24 linestage ($2500) and a pair of Quad II 80 monoblocks ($15,000/pair).
The only source was analog - a Merrill-Williams Real 101 turntable ($4000) with Ortofon TA110 tonearm and Cadenza Red phono cartridge.
It sounded like, well, Quads, which is a good thing.
