The British were well represented. Naim took the opportunity to demonstrate its electronics with member of the Commonwealth Canada’s Totem Acoustic’s new no-crossover Element Metal loudspeakers ($12,995/pair). New for Totem, as least to my ears, is a more extended top end.
Naim’s showed a selection of electronics, in all of its quirkiness. Shown top to bottom are the Naim NAC 252 preamplifier (£4875 excluding SuperCap power supply)) and a NAP 300 power amplifier and its separate power supply (together, $£5900).
The Naim CDS3 CD player (£5995):
These are a couple of more power supplies, one a SuperCap (£3300) for the NAC 252 preamplifier and the other a 555PS (£4895) one for the CDS3 CD player.
Powering Naim components is an expensive proposition!
