The Linn and Tannoy Room

Tannoy distributes Linn in the U.S. so it comes as no surprise to find them together at AXPONA. Shown below are Linn Klimax Kontrol preamplifier ($13,500) and Klimax DS digital stream player ($18,500), the Linn Akurate 2200 power amplifier ($4240) and Akurate DS digital stream player ($6850), and the Linn Sondek LP12 turntable ($2810) playing over Tannoy DC8T loudspeakers ($/pair).


 

 

 

Linn is know for its pace and rhythm, but I thought the sound was subdued.
