AKFest 2010 Coverage

Marantz brought its Reference level components and paired them with a pair of Paridigm Reference Signature S8 loudspeakers ($7798). I thought the sound was a bit harsh, but I think that is a result of playing the speakers too loud with the listening seats too close.

The Marantz SC-11S1 preamplifier ($3200).

The Marantz SM-11S1 110 watts/channel stereo power amplifier ($8000).

At the other end of the spectrum, Marantz also brought along components from its entry level series.
