Having been impressed with Bel Canto’s products at CES, I was pleased to have an opportunity to have another look at them. They were paired with Joseph Audio’s Pulsar monitor speakers ($7000) which sounded exceptional.
On the top row, the Bel Canto DAC 3.5VB ($3495) 24-bit/192kHz upsampling DAC with 24-bit digital volume control (left) and the CD2 CD transport/player ($2995) (right). On the second row, the DAC 1.5 ($1395) (left) with similar specs to the 3.5VB with the exception of the external power supply (shown on the third row) and the REF 150S power amplifier ($1495). On the bottom shelf is a Shunyata Hydra power conditioner.
