Audio Note (UK), not to be confused with Audio Note Japan (Kondo), brought its somewhat eclectic mix of components and speakers. It placed its top of the line AN-E ($15,500) loudspeakers in the corners against the side walls making a photo of the pair impossible. Despite its unusual speaker placement, the sound was extremely smooth and seductive with an excellent center image. There was, however, a noticeable lack of depth in this arrangement. Notice the external crossover comprised of Mundoff copper inductors and copper foil capacitors. Three pairs of silver SOGON cables were required for this set up.
The front end components were the top-loading CD 4.1x ($9500) (top) and the new CD3.1x ($5500) (bottom) CD players (bottom) feeding a Jinro integrated amplifier ($21,175).
