The Conrad-Johnson and MartinLogan Room

MartinLogan juxtaposed its statement CLX electrostatic loudspeakers ($25,495/pair) with its new black box Motion 40s ($TBA) supplemented with a Depth i subwoofer ($2195/pair).

MartinLogan used Conrad-Johnson’s brand new ET5 preamplifier ($9500) and an ET250S amplifier($7500), as well as a pair of Anthem M1 amplifiers ($3500/each), to power its demonstration.

 

 

The source was an Anthem BLX200 universal Blu-ray player ($800) feeding a Berkeley Audio Design Alpha DAC ($4995).

 

Berkeley’s new Alpha USB to S/PDIF converter ($1895) was also available.

Cables were by MIT.
